Go Travel: Africa

The fourth in a series of geography games developed by the author with and for her grandson over a period of several years. Early trials amply demonstrated that playing these games is an effective and enjoyable learning experience and that this format is a powerful teaching tool. Hopefully Go Travel: Africa will help fill some gaps in knowledge of geography.

In addition to the 52 playing cards, two additional non-playing cards present facts concerning population and areas. A supplemental sheet helps with some pronunciations and additional information.

There are 13 color-coded regions. Locator maps of the continent in the lower right hand corner show the featured country in red. Surrounding countries of the region are in tan.
